This week’s Friday Business Report on KPBS focused on the implications of the US Federal Reserve announcement that they were not planning to raise rates in 2019. BottomLine Marketing Co-Founder Miro Copic discussed the implication for consumers and the economy. In other stories, Copic discussed Qualcomm’s partnership with local area start-up TruePic to leverage their software that can verify photos and video and tell if they have been manipulated. This could dramatically reduce doctored online content, and, more importantly, the software could be used to streamline many industries, like insurance – where manipulated photos are provided to support claims.
