They also focused on San Diego, discussing the city’s 3rd “unicorn” start-up in as many months. Kyriba received $160 million in investment by Bridgepoint, a New York-based private equity firm. Kyriba follows two other San Diego start-ups to be values above $1 billion. Finally, the baseball season opened, and fans are at their most hopeful.
