BottomLine Marketing’s Miro Copic and NBC’s Bob Hansen discuss the impact of the impending tariff increases on products imported from China on U.S. consumers. Unfortunately, consumers will bear the brunt of the tariffs, which will reduce number of things consumers can buy. Copic discussed why the US is imposing tariffs – from getting China to change predatory trade policies to preserving jobs in the U.S and he also provided examples of how tariffs on washing machines are already adding nearly $100 to the cost of washing machines but also, surprisingly, $100 to driers.
